1.1 Usage

Method 1: Add Custom Model via Settings (Recommended)

1. Open Cursor IDE

2. Go to Settings → Models

3. Click Add Model or locate the custom model configuration area

4. Enter:

   • Base URL: https://api.hpc-ai.com/inference/v1

   • API Key: your-hpc-ai-api-key

5. Select the model to use

6. Save

Method 2: Proxy Service

For proxy scenarios:

• Set up a proxy forwarding service (e.g., LiteLLM)

• Configure the proxy URL and API Key in Cursor

1.2 Notes

1. Cursor has limitations with custom APIs; Chat mode is primarily supported

2. Agent mode may require OpenAI Responses API support

3. Some features (e.g., Composer) may not support all custom models
