Quota Limits

In the Model API Console, you can configure balance alerts and API Key quota rules. These settings help you track your account balance and control the allowance for each API Key.

Configure low-balance notifications​

The system sends an in-console notification and an SMS or email when your available account balance falls below the reminder threshold you set.

Path:

  1. Sign in to the console and go to Account Information.
  2. Switch to Notification Settings.
  3. Turn on Low Balance Notification.
  4. Enter an amount in Reminder Threshold.
  5. Click Save.

You can also open Notification Settings directly.

The reminder threshold must be lower than your current available balance.

Configure an API Key quota​

You can set a usage quota for each API Key to prevent the usage of an individual key from exceeding expectations.

Path:

  1. Sign in to the Model Services Console and go to API Key.
  2. In the Actions column for the target API Key, click Set Quota. If a quota has already been set, click Edit Quota instead.
  3. Select Set Quota.
  4. Choose a quota period:
    • Monthly: resets each UTC calendar month;
    • Total: a cumulative quota that does not reset.
  5. Enter the quota amount and confirm to save. The amount is in yuan (CNY), supports up to two decimal places, and must be greater than 0.

Once the quota is reached, new requests using that API Key are rejected. The system evaluates the quota against billed amounts, so enforcement is typically delayed by a few minutes. To restore access, increase the limit or change the setting to No Limit.
