Nous Research API

The Nous Research Inference API provides hosted, programmatic access to Nous models. Official site: portal.nousresearch.com

1.1 Current Status

Nous Research API is a hosted provider endpoint. The public portal shows hosted Hermes models, API keys, and API docs, and it also lists third-party models powered by OpenRouter for Nous Chat and Hermes Agent subscribers. It does not show a user-facing custom upstream provider setup where you would enter an external Base URL, API Key, and Model for HPC-AI.

1.2 Notes

1. Use Nous Research API when you want to call Nous-hosted models through the Nous portal.
2. If your goal is direct HPC-AI access, use a client that supports custom OpenAI-compatible providers instead of the Nous portal.
